Does putting on a coat of nail hardener on the entire nail weaken the natural nail underneath?

I would think that it would because of the lack of oxygen to the nail. Any ideas?

That is a good question now that i think of it.It really doesnt weaken the nail underneath.It actually reapairs the nail.So then it will form and become more hard.Nial hardner is made speical just for nails and will still alow them to recieve oxygen.
